Crude oil futures up 55 cents at 85.87 usd/barrel (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - London, 12 Jul - Brent futures were higher as oil prices were lifted by strong demand figures from the US Energy Information Administration, falling production from OPEC and ongoing conflicts in the Middle East.

Crude prices fell earlier this week, retreating from their highest levels in seven weeks after posting strong gains in June.

At 1108 GMT, crude oil futures were up 55 cents at 85.87 dollars a barrel.
