BMW recalls 1.36 mln cars in China for airbag defect

Recall affects locally produced, imported cars (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Shanghai , 16 Aug - German car manufacturer BMW will recall a total 1.36 million cars in China due to an airbag defect that represents a safety risk, announced China's State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR).

The recall is for models produced between 2003 and 2017 affects both locally produced and imported BMW cars, the regulator said.
