Tokyo rises as Sydney, Seoul fall (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Tokyo , 27 Aug - Asian shares closed mixed, with share prices in Tokyo rising as exporters were seen benefiting from the weak yen but stocks posting moderate losses in Sydney and Seoul.

The Nikkei was up 0.47% at 38,288.62 points.

In Sydney, the S&P ASX 200 closed down 0.16% at 8,071.20 points as investors took profits on bank shares, while in Seoul the KOSPI fell 0.32% to 2,689.25 points In late trade, the Shanghai Composite index was down 0.24% at 2,848.78 points while the Hong Kong Hang Seng index was up 0.18% at 17,848.00 points. In Mumbai, the Sensex index was 0.16% higher at 81,826.17 points.
