Anthropic backed by Google, Amazon.com and Salesforce (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - New York, 20 Jun - Anthropic, a startup backed by Google, Amazon.com and Salesforce, said it was launching Claude 3.5 Sonnet, the company's most powerful artificial intelligence model to date.

The move comes just three months after launching its Claude 3 family of AI models.

"Claude 3.5 Sonnet raises the industry bar for intelligence, outperforming competitor models and Claude 3 Opus on a wide range of evaluations, with the speed and cost of our mid-tier model, Claude 3 Sonnet," the company said.

Claude is a chatbot along the lines of OpenAI's ChatGPT and Google's Gemini.
