Airbus shares slump after H1 charge, guidance cut

Shares down almost 9% (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Paris, 25 Jun - Shares in French aerospace group Airbus slumped in opening trade after the company said it was booking a 900 million euro charge in its Space division in the first half and cut its full year commercial aircraft delivery guidance to 770 units from a previous 800, citing supply chain issues.

At 0722 GMT, Airbus shares were down 8.76% at 136.10 euros while the CAC 40 was 0.58% lower.

The company now sees full year adjusted EBIT of around 5.5 billion euros, down from previous guidance of 6.5-7.0 billion, and free cash flow before customer financing of around 3.5 billion.
