Better-than-expected (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Washington, 05 Sep - US non-farm productivity in the second quarter of 2024 from the previous three months was revised to up 2.5% from up 2.3%, according to a reading from the US Labor Department.

Expectations were for a rise of 2.4%.

Output increased 3.5% while hours worked increased 1.0%, it said.

Compared to a year ago, productivity was up 2.7%.
