Below expectations (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Washington, 06 Jun - US non-farm productivity growth in the first quarter of 2024 compared to the previous three months was revised to 0.2% from 0.3%, according to a reading from the US Labor Department.

Expectations were for 0.3%.

Output increased 0.9% while hours worked increased 0.6%, it said.

Compared to a year ago, productivity was up 2.9%, the largest four-quarter increase since the first quarter of 2021.
