In line with expectations (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Washington, 27 Jun - Real gross domestic product (GDP) growth in the US rose at an annual rate of 1.4% in the first quarter of 2024, according to the final estimate released by the US Bureau of Economic Analysis. The reading was revised up 0.1 percentage point from the 'second' estimate released.

Expectations were for GDP growth to be 1.4%.

In the fourth quarter, real GDP increased 3.4%.
