Shipment index lowest since December (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Washington, 20 Jun - The US Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia said its manufacturing business outlook survey for June fell to a reading of 1.3 from 4.5 in May, marking its lowest reading since January.

Economists' expectations were for a reading of 4.8 points.

The shipments index fell to negative 7.2 from negative 1.2 the previous month, and the new orders index rose to negative 2.2 from negative 7.9 in May.
