Shipments Index jumps 35 pts to highest since May 2022 (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Washington, 18 Jul - The US Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia said its manufacturing business outlook survey for July rose to a reading of 13.9 from 1.3 in June.

Economists' expectations were for a reading of 2.7 points.

The shipments index jumped 35 points from the previous month to 27.8, its highest reading since May 2022, and the new orders index rose 23 points to 20.7, its highest reading since March 2022.
