Export prices down 0.6% mth/mth (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Washington, 14 Jun - US import prices fell 0.4% month on month in May, after a 0.9% rise in April, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics reported.

Lower fuel and nonfuel import prices contributed to the overall decline, it said.

Expectations were for import prices to be unchanged on a monthly basis.

US export prices fell 0.6% in May following a 0.6% rise the previous month.

Expectations were for unchanged.
