Imports 269.2 bln usd, up 1.7 bln usd (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Washington, 24 Jul - The US trade deficit for goods dropped 2.5% month on month in June to 96.8 billion dollars, according to advanced data released by the US Census Bureau.

Economists were expecting a trade deficit of 98.8 billion dollars.

Imports rose by 1.7 billion dollars to 269.2 billion dollars while exports increased 4.3 billion to 172.3 billion.
