US June CPI down 0.1% mth/mth, up 3.0% yr/yr

Lower than expectations (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Washington, 11 Jul - The US consumer price index fell 0.1% in June, according to data released by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Over the last 12 months, the all items index rose 3.0% before seasonal adjustment, it said.

Economists expected consumer prices to increase 0.1% month and month and 3.1% on the year earlier.
