Above expectations (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Washington, 25 Jun - US consumer confidence fell to 100.4 in June from 101.3 in May, the Conference Board said.

Economists were expecting the index to come in at 100.0.

The current situation index rose to 141.5 in June from 140.8 the previous month, while the expectations index decreased to 73.0 from 74.9 in May.
