US July CPI up 0.2% mth/mth, up 2.9% yr/yr
Below expectations on year (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Washington, 14 Aug - The US consumer price index increased 0.2% in July, according to data released by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Over the last 12 months, the all items index rose 2.9% before seasonal adjustment, it said.
Economists expected consumer prices to increase 0.2% month and month and 3.0% on the year earlier.
