3-month average unchanged at -0.06 in July (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Washington, 22 Aug - The Chicago Fed National Activity Index (CFNAI) slipped to negative 0.34 in July from a downwardly revised reading of negative 0.09 in June, according to the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.

Expectations were for a rise to 0.03.

The index's three month moving average, CFNAI-MA3, was unchanged at negative 0.06 in July.
