UK May industrial output up 0.2% mth/mth vs down 0.9% in April (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - London, 11 Jul - In May, the UK's GDP rose 0.4% month on month and rose 1.4% year on year, according to the Office for National Statistics.

In the three months to May, GDP was up 0.9% compared to the previous three months and rose 1.0% year on year.

Monthly production output was estimated to have risen 0.2% month on month in May, following an unrevised fall of 0.9% in April.

The monthly services output increased by 0.3% in May, following an increase of 0.3% in April, upwardly revised 0.1 percentage points.
