Spain July CPI down 0.5% mth/mth, up 2.8% yr/yr

In line with preliminary data (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Madrid , 13 Aug - In July, Spanish consumer prices fell by 0.5% compared to the previous month and were down by 2.8% compared to the year earlier, according to data from statistics institute Ine.

The figures were in line with preliminary indications released on July 30.

Harmonised consumer prices, calculated for European Union purposes, rose by 2.9% year on year in July, also in line with preliminary data.
