Down 4.8% yr/yr (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Madrid, 03 Sep - In August, Spanish unemployment rose by 0.86%, or 21,884 people, month on month to 2,572,121 people , according to the labour ministry.

It is the lowest level of registered unemployed for a month of August since 2008.

On an adjusted basis, unemployment was down by 7,724 people month on month.

Year on year, unemployment fell by 4.8%, or 130,579 people, the ministry said.
