Japan July trade deficit widens to 621.838 bln yen

Exports up 10.3% yr/yr, imports up 16.6 yr/yr (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Tokyo, 21 Aug - In July, Japan posted a trade deficit of 621.838 billion yen, up from a deficit of 61.325 billion a year ago, according to data released by the Ministry of Finance.

Exports rose an annual 10.3% to 9.619 trillion yen while imports were 16.6% higher at 10.241 trillion yen.
