Exports to Turkey up 29.7% yr/yr, to Spain up 5.1% (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Rome , 16 Jul - In May 2024, the countries that contributed most to the decline in Italian exports compared to the year earlier were Germany (down 8.2%), Switzerland (down 11.4%), Austria (down 14.3%), France (down 2.7%) and Belgium (down 7.3%). Exports instead rose to Turkey (up 29.7%) and Spain (up 5.1%).

Import prices in the month rose by 0.1% compared to the previous month and were down 0.2% compared to May 2023 after declining at a 1.8% annual pace in April.
