Up 9.2% yr/yr (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Rome, 19 Jul - In May 2024, Italy's seasonally adjusted production in the construction sector rose by 1.1% compared to April, data from statistics institute Istat showed.

Year on year, calendar adjusted production in the Italian construction sector rose by 9.2%. There were 22 working days both in May 2024 and 2023.

Unadjusted industrial production rose by 9.3% year on year in May.

In the first five months of 2024, calendar adjusted production in the Italain construction sector increased by 8.4%, while unadjusted production grew by 9.8%.
