Sales volumes down 0.7% mth/mth (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Rome , 28 Aug - In June 2024, on a seasonally adjusted basis, the value of Italian industrial sales increased by 0.1% compared to the previous month while volumes were down 0.7%, data from statistics institute Istat showed.

On the domestic market, the value of industrial sales slipped 1.0% and volumes were down 1.6% while on foreign markets the value rose by 2.2% and volumes grew by 1.0%.

Compared to the year earlier, calendar adjusted Italian industrial sales in June 2024 fell by 3.7% in value terms and were down 3.3% in volumes. On the domestic market, the value of sales decreased 6.0% while volumes were 5.6% lower. On foreign markets, the value of industrial sales rose by 0.6% and volumes increased 0.8%.

There were 20 working days in June 2024 compared with 21 the year earlier.
