Retail sales volumes up 0.3% mth/mth, up 0.1% yr/yr (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Rome , 06 Sep - In July 2024 compared with the previous month, Italian retail sales rose by 0.5% in value terms while volumes increased by 0.3%, according to data from statistics institute Istat.

Sales of food products rose by 0.5% month on month in value and by 0.4% in volumes. Non-food product sales increased by 0.6% in value and by 0.2% in volumes.

Compared to the year earlier, Italian retail sales in July 2024 rose by 1.0% in value and by 0.1% in volumes. Sales of food products grew by 0.3% in value and decreased by 0.7% in volumes. Non-food product sales grew in value and volumes, by 1.4% and 0.6%, respectively.
