May exports 131.6 bln eur, down 3.6% mth/mth (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Berlin, 08 Jul - In May, Germany's foreign trade balance showed a surplus of 24.9 billion euros compared with 22.2 billion euros in April 2024 and 16.8 billion euros in May 2023, according to the statistics office Destatis.

After calendar and seasonal adjustment, Germany exported goods to the total value of 131.6 billion euros, down 1.6% year on year and down 3.6% month on month.

Imports totalled an adjusted 106.7 billion euros, down 6.6% on the previous month and down 8.7% on the same month a year earlier.
