Orders down adj 1.6% yr/yr (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Berlin, 06 Jun - Orders in Germany's manufacturing sector in April fell a price, seasonally and calendar adjusted 0.2% compared with March, according to data released by federal statistical office Destatis.

On an annual basis orders fell a calendar adjusted 1.6%.

In March orders had fallen a monthly 0.8%, revised from a previous reading of down 0.4%, and decreased an annual 2.4%.

Excluding major orders, real new orders rose 2.9% month on month on a seasonally and calendar adjusted basis.
