French July PPI up 0.2% mth/mth, down 4.1% yr/yr

PPI for products for French market up 0.2% mth/mth (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Paris , 30 Aug - In July, industrial producer prices in France rose by 0.2% compared to the previous month after seven consecutive monthly falls including a 0.1% drop in June, according to data from statistics institute Insee.

Producer prices for products for the French market rose by a monthly 0.2% in July after falling 0.2% in June while those for foreign markets were steady after a 0.4% rise in June.

Year on year, producer prices fell by 4.1% in July after a 4.6% decline in June, marking their thirteenth consecutive fall. Excludig energy, producer prices in France were steady in July compared to June after falling 0.1% the previous month. Year on year, they rose 0.1% after a 0.3% fall in June.
