July manufacturing climate 95 vs 99 (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Paris, 25 Jul - In July, France's business climate fell to 94 from 99, according to the statistics office Insee.

The indicator reached its lowest level since February 2021 and all market sectors contributed to the decline.

The business climate fell to 95 in July from 99 June in manufacturing, to 99 from 100 in building construction, to 95 from 101 in services and to 94 from 99 in retail.

In wholesale, the indicator fell to 92 in July from 95 in May. Insee provides a reading every two months for wholesale trade.

The employment climate dropped to 96 in July from 100 in June.
