12 mths to June bankruptcies 62,015; revised up (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Paris, 16 Aug - In July, the number of corporate bankruptcies in France rose to 63,095 in the 12 months to July from 62,015 in the 12 months to June, according to the Bank of France.

The figure for the 12 months to June was revised up from an initial estimate of 61,081.

In percentage, bankruptcies were up 25.6% compared with the previous year in July against a 26.7% rise in June.

The level of bankruptcies is above Covid-19 levels. In the period running from 2010 to 2019, bankruptcies averaged 59,342 annually.
