Eurozone July M3 up 2.3% yr/yr, unchanged vs June

June growth revised from 2.2% (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Frankfurt, 28 Aug - In July, the annual growth rate of the eurozone's broad monetary aggregate M3 was 2.3, unchanged from June, which was revised from a previous 2.2%, according to data released by the European Central Bank.

In the three months to July, M3 averaged 2.0%.

The narrower aggregate M1, which comprises currency in circulation and overnight deposits, fell an annual 3.1% in July, compared with a 3.4% drop in June.

The annual growth rate of short-term deposits other than overnight deposits (M2-M1) decreased to 11.4% in July from 12.8% in June.

The annual growth rate of marketable instruments (M3-M2) increased to 21.0% in July from 18.7% in June.
