Business registrations down 2.1% qtr/qtr (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Brussels , 16 Aug - In the second quarter of 2024, the number of bankruptcy declarations of European Union businesses increased by 3.1% compared with the previous quarter, data from EU statistical office Eurostat showed.

At the same time, business registrations were down by 2.1% compared with the first quarter of 2024.
