Down 0.1% per capita (Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Ottawa, 30 Aug - In the second quarter, Canada's real gross domestic product (GDP) increased 0.5% compared with the first quarter, when it rose 0.4%, according to Statistics Canada.

On a per capita basis, GDP fell 0.1% in the second quarter, the fifth consecutive quarterly decline.
