Sell-offs in Piazza Affari. Rest of Europe unmoved

(Teleborsa) - Bulls and bears are in stalemate as the major bourses on the Old Continent trade on the flatline. Trending against them, the Borsa Italiana slides into the red.

EUR / USD trades down -0.43% in a weak session. Gold is essentially stable at 2,619.7 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil has a weak session, trading -0.26% lower.

The Spread sees a slight drop, falling to +128 basis points, while the Italy 10-year BTP yield stands at +3.44%.

Among the European markets, lacklustre Frankfurt registers almost no change against the previous trading session, London lacks momentum, trading with a 0% change, and a sluggish day for Paris, which drops -0.41%.

Piazza Affari slips fractionally as the FTSE MIB sheds -0.49%; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share loses -0.47% to trade at 35,715 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is below the flatline, slipping -0.39%; similarly, the FTSE Italia Star is slightly lower (-0.26%).

Telecom Italia (+1.25%), Amplifon (+0.92%), Hera (+0.90%) and Snam (+0.87%) among the top performers in Milan.

Bper reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -2.05% down.

Brunello Cucinelli is down, with a net loss of 1.80%.

ENI is firmly in the red, showing a fall of 1.75%.

Unicredit trades negative, losing -1.71%.

MFE A (+2.29%), Alerion Clean Power (+2.11%), Digital Value (+1.22%) and Acea (+1.14%) are among the best performing stocks in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap basket.

Piaggio reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -7.05% down.

Carel Industries plunges -1.83%.

Tinexta declines by a notable -1.75%.

Juventus trades with a small loss of -1.24%.
