Piazza Affari shines
(Teleborsa) - The Borsa Italiana is up amid a flurry of buy orders, just like the major European exchanges. US listings rise, as the S&P-500 steps up to add +0.75%.
EUR / USD continues the session just below the flatline, slipping -0.32%. There is no significant change for gold which, at 2,742.4 dollars per ounce, is traded around previous levels. Light Sweet Crude Oil loses a lot of ground, retracing by +0.99% to trade at 69.94 dollars per barrel.
The Spread sees a slight drop, falling to +124 basis points, while the Italy 10-year BTP yield stands at +3.67%.
Among the European indices, a positive performance for Frankfurt, which advances by a notable +0.93%, London's +0.83% surge cheers investors, and Paris forges ahead by +0.8%.
In Piazza Affari, the FTSE MIB ends the day +1.15% up at 34,676 points, breaking its streak of three consecutive rises, which began last Tuesday; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share delivers positive performance, finishing +1.07% up over the previous close.
The FTSE Italia Mid Cap closes just above the flatline (+0.23%); on the same trend direction, the FTSE Italia Star posts marginal gains (+0.46%).
Among Italy's best performing large-caps, Unicredit is in positive territory with a +3.55% increase.
Banco Bpm attracts bids with a +2.55% rise.
