Moderate gains in Milan

News Image (Teleborsa) - Piazza Affari is trading slightly higher, on a par with the major European bourses. On Wall Street, trading remains cautious, with the S&P-500 reporting a -0.06% change.

EUR / USD climbs a tad to 1.114. Gold trades slightly up at 2,636.3 dollars per ounce. Crude oil rises in an upbeat session, with Light Sweet Crude Oil gaining as much as +2.03%.

The Spread remains unchanged at +129 basis points, while the Italy ten-year BTP is at +3.43%.

Among the major European bourses, Frankfurt makes fairly pedestrian progress (+0.54%), London trades firm at +0.17%, and Paris's +1.18% surge cheers investors.

In Milan, the FTSE MIB registers a fractional gain of +0.57%; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share crawls up to 35,987 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is only just in the black (+0.46%); on the same trend direction, the FTSE Italia Star inches up +0.31%.

Brunello Cucinelli (+4.65%), Tenaris (+4.20%), Stmicroelectronics (+3.18%) and Iveco (+2.90%) among the best performing blue chips in Piazza Affari.

Prysmian sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -1.67% lower.

DiaSorin is subdued, shedding -1.07%.

Finecobank falls just below its previous value.

A2A is sluggish, declining marginally (-0.78%).

Ariston Holding (+7.53%), Ferragamo (+3.26%), Intercos (+2.55%) and Sanlorenzo (+2.27%) top the ranks of Milan's mid-caps.

Safilo sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -3.75% lower.

Investors are selling as ENAV records a -1.84% fall.

Alerion Clean Power shows a negative session -1.7% down.

Reply is modestly down, shedding -1.33%.
