Milan, Europe shine bright
(Teleborsa) - Milan's strong rally is on a par with the breathtaking gains seen at the other European bourses. On the American market the S&P-500 registers large advances.
Caution prevails as EUR / USD continues the session slightly lower (-0.28%). Gold holds its position at 2,746.9 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil is slightly down at 70.16 dollars per barrel.
The Spread trades slightly higher, adding 2 basis points to reach +128 BPs, with the Italy BTP 10-year yield at +3.66%.
Among the major European bourses, Frankfurt is in positive territory with a +0.96% increase, London attracts bids with a +0.98% rise, and Paris is firmly in the black, progressing +0.89%.
In a strong day for the Milan bourse the FTSE MIB gains +1.26%, putting an end to the bearish streak of three consecutive drops since last Tuesday; similarly, steady gains for the FTSE Italia All-Share as it reaches 36,805 points.
The FTSE Italia Mid Cap inches up +0.33%; on the same trend direction, the FTSE Italia Star is trading just above the flatline (+0.45%).
Unicredit (+3.09%), Intesa Sanpaolo (+2.46%), Banco Bpm (+2.32%) and Leonardo (+1.78%) among the best performing blue chips in Piazza Affari.
Stmicroelectronics sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -1.48% lower.
Tinexta (+2.96%), Anima Holding (+2.24%), Fincantieri (+2.15%) and Rai Way (+2.09%) are among the big players in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap index.
GVS has the worst performance, with a -2.44% down.
Caltagirone plunges -2.31% on intense selling.
Ascopiave is modestly down, shedding -1.24%.
