Milan, Europe shine bright

News Image (Teleborsa) - Milan's strong rally is on a par with the breathtaking gains seen at the other European bourses.

EUR / USD is essentially stable at previous levels, finishing at 1.115. Gold is essentially stable at 2,662.3 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil slumps -2.26% to land at 68.12 dollars per barrel.

The Spread sees a small decrease, losing -2 basis points to stand at +128 BPs, while the Italy BTP 10-year yield settles at +3.42%.

Among the European indices, Frankfurt's +1.04% surge cheers investors, a positive result for London, which inches up +0.45%, and Paris forges ahead by +1.24%.

In Milan, the FTSE MIB rises +1.01%, to 34,183 points; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share sees an increase of +0.97%.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is up +1.2%, as the FTSE Italia Star climbs +1.12%.

Among Italy's best performing large-caps, Moncler sparkles, managing to pull off a +4.57% increase.

Brunello Cucinelli is on top of the game with a strong +4.46% rise.

Stmicroelectronics is in positive territory with a +2.98% increase.

Campari attracts bids with a +2.71% rise.

Saipem has the worst performance, with a -2.60% down.

Investors are selling as ENI records a -2.56% fall.

Ferragamo (+7.18%), GVS (+4.45%), Sesa (+3.08%) and Ariston Holding (+3.06%) top the ranks of Milan's mid-caps.

Danieli & C reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -4.56% down.

Philogen totters along with a modest -1% decline.
