Markets of the Old Continent are all positive
(Teleborsa) - A rush of buy orders hits the European stock markets as Piazza Affari closes on the same positive note as the Old Continent bourses.
EUR / USD is essentially stable, finishing at 1.114. Caution prevails as gold continues the session slightly lower (-0.39%). Light Sweet Crude Oil loses -0.12%, changing hands at 70.01 dollars per barrel.
The Spread is at +130 basis points, near the previous day's level, while the ten-year BTP settles at +3.38%.
Among the European indices, Frankfurt rises +0.72% on positive cues, London edges higher, showing an increase of 0.69%, and a positive result for Paris, which inches up +0.68%.
In Milan, the FTSE MIB rises +0.88%, to 33,867 points, consolidating after four consecutive days of gains, which began last Thursday; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share delivers positive performance, trading +0.86% up over the previous close.
The FTSE Italia Mid Cap gains marginally (+0.51%); on the same line, FTSE Italia Star puts in a good performance (+0.8%).
Nexi (+3.32%), Stmicroelectronics (+2.83%), Iveco (+2.17%) and Tenaris (+1.99%) among the top performers in Milan.
Saipem has the worst performance, with a -0.92% down.
MPS Bank is sluggish, declining marginally (-0.62%).
Italmobiliare (+2.68%), GVS (+2.56%), D'Amico (+2.50%) and Reply (+2.43%) top the ranks of Milan's mid-caps.
El.En sees the heaviest sell-offs, now trading -3.18% lower.
Investors are selling as Ferragamo records a -2.19% fall.
Sanlorenzo shows a negative session -1.89% down.
Brembo is modestly down, shedding -1.26%.
