European markets rally
(Teleborsa) - European equity markets close on the plus side of the ledger. Piazza Affari also has a bullish session. On the US exchange, the S&P-500 is essentially stable with a percentage change of -0.04.EUR / USD makes timid gains, progressing by +0.25%. A day of solid gains for gold, which records a +1.65% rise. Crude oil rises in an upbeat session, with Light Sweet Crude Oil gaining as much as +3.14%.
The Spread declines to settle at +135 basis points, a reduction of 4 BPs, while the Italian BTP 10-year yield is +3.48%.
Among the markets of the Old Continent, Frankfurt attracts bids with a +1.03% rise, London records a fairly pedestrian increase of +0.57%, and Paris is only just in the black as it climbs a scant +0.52%.
The Milan bourse closes up as the FTSE MIB gains +0.84%; similarly, a bullish session sees the FTSE Italia All-Share rise well above previous levels to 35,552 points.
The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is buoyed by fresh buying, up +0.8%; on the same trend direction, the FTSE Italia Star is only just in the black (+0.65%).
Among Italy's best performing large-caps, Telecom Italia impresses with a +6.75% rise.
Banco Bpm is firmly in the black, progressing +2.94%.
Unicredit performs well, growing +2.88%.
Bper secures a tidy +2.18% gain.
Hera sees the heaviest sell-offs, finishing trade -1.67% lower.
ERG drifts -1.03% lower.
Snam totters along with a modest -0.96% decline.
A sluggish day for DiaSorin, which drops -0.87%.
El.En (+3.85%), De'Longhi (+3.07%), D'Amico (+2.44%) and Tinexta (+2.38%) top the ranks of Milan's mid-caps.
Mondadori reports the heaviest losses, ending the session -3.75% down.
SOL shows a negative session -3.3% down.
Troubled Cembre falls -3.29%.
Ascopiave is down, with a net loss of 2.16%.
