European markets on standby
(Teleborsa) - The major European bourses are trading on a cautious note. Uncertainty and wariness also pervade Milan, where stocks cling close to the flatline.EUR / USD trades slightly up at 1.112. Gold is trading at previous levels, with a variation of -0.05%. Light Sweet Crude Oil is slightly down at 69 dollars per barrel.
The Spread slips to +131 basis points, down -2 BPs, while the Italy 10Y BTP yield stands at +3.42%.
Among the major European bourses, Frankfurt trades with a small loss of -0.22%, London essentially treads water (-0.08%), and Paris goes nowhere, reporting a +0.05% change.
Milan's Piazza Affari is essentially stable, with the FTSE MIB trading sideways at 33,609 points; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share (Milan) hovers around previous levels, trading at 35,727 points.
The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is slightly lower (-0.21%), as the FTSE Italia Star eases -0.43%.
Among Italy's best performing large-caps, Saipem is on top of the game with a strong +3.89% rise.
A positive performance for Unipol, which advances by a notable +3.05%.
Generali's +2.22% surge cheers investors.
Unicredit makes fairly pedestrian progress (+1%).
Stmicroelectronics reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -1.77% down.
Tottering Campari dips -1%.
Interpump Group is definitely weaker with a -0.93% decrease.
Banca Popolare Sondrio slips just under the flatline with a -0.81% decrease.
