European equity in the red. Milan also down

News Image (Teleborsa) - It looks like a gloomy day for Piazza Affari and Europe's other major bourses.

EUR / USD broadly maintains the previous session's levels, with a change of only -0.03%. Gold is in positive terrain, earning +1.02%. Light Sweet Crude Oil slumps -0.48% to land at 70.82 dollars per barrel.

The Spread flatlines, remaining at +131 basis points, while the Italian ten-year BTP is at +3.48%.

Among the markets of the Old Continent, Frankfurt plunges -0.81% on intense selling, London totters along with a modest -0.45% decline, and a sluggish day for Paris, which drops -0.66%.

Caution prevails in Milan as the FTSE MIB registers a marginal drop of -0.3%; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share comes under sell-off pressure as it retreats to 36,080 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap is in the red (-0.91%); on the same trend direction, the FTSE Italia Star descends -0.93%.

Italgas (+1.31%), Intesa Sanpaolo (+1.22%), Hera (+1.14%) and Terna (+0.99%) top the ranks of Milan's large-caps.

Moncler has the worst performance, with a -6.48% down.

Investors flee as Iveco is down by a massive -4.59%.

Brunello Cucinelli dives -4.16%.

Investors are selling as Stmicroelectronics records a -3.73% fall.

Sanlorenzo (+0.99%), Acea (+0.76%) and Ascopiave (+0.70%) are among the best performing stocks in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap basket.

MFE B reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -4.57% down.

Ferragamo collapses (-4.48%).

MFE A shows a negative session -3.23% down.

Troubled Industrie De Nora falls -3.14%.
