Europe reined in

News Image (Teleborsa) - Just like the other major markets in Europe, the Milan stock exchange is going nowhere.

EUR / USD is essentially stable at previous levels, finishing at 1.082. Caution prevails as gold continues the session slightly lower (-0.5%). Light Sweet Crude Oil is slightly up, rising to 70.64 dollars per barrel.

The Spread flatlines, remaining at +120 basis points, while the Italian ten-year BTP is at +3.49%.

Among the major European bourses, Frankfurt goes nowhere, reporting a -0.04% change, London is basically unchanged, reporting a scant -0.19% variation, and Paris slips just under the flatline with a -0.3% decrease.

The Milan stock exchange takes a breather, with the FTSE MIB trading at 34,711 points; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share bounces around the flatline, trading at 36,843 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap lacks direction (-0.12%); the FTSE Italia Star is slightly lower (-0.26%).

Saipem (+3.44%), Iveco (+1.36%), Tenaris (+0.93%) and ENI (+0.90%) among the top performers in Milan.

Hera reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -1.15% down.

Campari contracts moderately by -1.13%.

Unipol is subdued, shedding -0.77%.

Finecobank falls just below its previous value.

Buzzi (+3.11%), Moltiply Group (+1.68%), Cementir (+1.58%) and Alerion Clean Power (+1.55%) are among the best performing stocks in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap basket.

Reply reports the heaviest losses, currently suffering from a -2.78% down.

Maire trades negative, losing -2.64%.

Brembo plunges -2.27%.

El.En is sluggish, declining marginally (-1.47%).
