Europe reined in

News Image (Teleborsa) - Just like the other major markets in Europe, the Milan stock exchange is going nowhere.

EUR / USD broadly maintains the previous session's levels, with a change of only +0.13%. Gold is essentially stable at previous levels, finishing at 2,735.5 dollars per ounce. Light Sweet Crude Oil gains +1.92% amid a flurry of buy orders.

The Spread is broadly on the previous day's level as it settles at +124 basis points, while the Italy ten-year BTP is at +3.67%.

Among the major European bourses, Frankfurt trades largely sideways, London is only just in the black as it climbs a scant +0.46%, and Paris reports no significant price changes in the absence of fresh cues.

In Milan, the FTSE MIB is largely stable, trading at 34,667 points; similarly, the FTSE Italia All-Share is trading on a dull note, at 36,751 points, around the previous day's levels.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap holds the line (-0.1%); similarly, the FTSE Italia Star holds previous levels (-0.05%).

Among Italy's best performing large-caps, Saipem stands out, progressing +1.71%.

Amplifon lacks momentum in this session, reflected in a moderate gain of 0.81%.

Stmicroelectronics has the worst performance, with a -1.77% down.

Iveco trades with a small loss of -0.85%.

Tottering Nexi dips -0.76%.

Interpump Group is definitely weaker with a -0.67% decrease.

Philogen (+2.30%), Juventus (+1.63%), Banco di Desio e della Brianza (+1.48%) and Italmobiliare (+1.28%) are among the best performing stocks in the FTSE Italia Mid Cap basket.

D'Amico has the worst performance, with a -2.01% down.

Investors hurry to sell as Digital Value declines -1.83%.

LU-VE Group slips just under the flatline with a -1.31% decrease.

Fincantieri contracts moderately by -1.14%.
