A grim day for European equity. Milan in the red
(Teleborsa) - The major European bourses are all in the doldrums. The Milanese stock exchange is also down, but experiences less severe losses. Selling prevails on the US markets as the S&P-500 takes a dip.
EUR / USD is essentially stable at previous levels, finishing at 1.117. Gold is on the plus side, showing a +1.44% increase. Investors sell as Light Sweet Crude Oil slides to 70.94 dollars per barrel.
The Spread retraces its steps, dipping -1.52% to +130 basis points, while the Italy 10-year BTP yield is at +3.5%.
